In November 2013, Julian was unable to summit Aconcagua, the highest mountain in South America, the highest outside of The Himalayas and a coveted seven summit. Guided by Rolfe Oostra, the team managed to make Camp Cholera (6,000m) but high winds prevented further progress. However, Julian did summit Mount Bonnete (5,200m), in the Andes.

Julian raised sponsorship for The Matt Hampson Foundation.
